Parit, Perak

Friends and I went to Parit, Perak last week. Departure time was at noon considering everyone has to follow own schedule and busy with daily routine.

Since this is our first time in Parit, so everyone has the problem to find that small village. We have to follow signboard to Simpang Pulai seeing that there was no signboard for Parit along the road.

We arrived there at around 5 p.m and rushed to a friend's orchard; getting ready for the adventure (picking up durians, mangosteen, rambutan, petai and even looking for rebung!).

Rebung

There were so many orchards here which belong to the villagers. We have counted that there are about 8 orchards. Namely Parit 1 to 8… As many as 8! Friend's orchards are the one that numbered Parit 4, 6 and 8 (Excluding the Oil Palm orchard).

We have to endure the long journey but the reward was really worth the struggle. We stopped for a bathed later that evening and returned to Kuala Lumpur at 10 p.m.
